The first song, "Mother and Child Reunion" is a musical masterpiece straight out of the typical Simon vein. Cannot recommend this album enough.

This particular video was a recommendation from a good friend of mine (who persistently chooses not to post his own items on this website). Although this video is not strictly related to musical ideas it does have to do with language acquisition which was a close enough leap for me to decide people on this blog would enjoy.

MOOG Lover Must Movie

Moog. The story of Dr. Robert Moog and the invention of the Synthesizer. Just watched this film on netflix and highly recommend it. It is a combination of interviews with Dr. Moog as well as performances by well known electronic and Moog musicians including but not limited to: Bernie Worrell, Keith Emerson, and Sun Ra. If you don't have netflix or if you have no idea what a Moog synthesizer is then go on youtube and look it up, you will thank me and it will change your life!

Apparently 13,000,000 + people have already seen this youtube video but I got there eventually so if you have not watched this yet check it out.

I used to watch this guy on you tube a whole lot in college. His name is Ronald Jenkees and he just has an incredible talent for building beats and shredding on the keys. Incredibly strange dude, used to think it was an act but not sure why it would be. Here is a taste, but I am sure you will find yourself looking for more of his videos later!
